HOW TO MAKE YOUR ARTICLES APPEALING

An article that is appealing is one that imparts very valuable information to the reader. A reader will want to read through the whole article in order to learn more about the topic concerned. An appealing article answers the reader's questions. It gives the reader that information which they have been searching for over the Internet.

So how do you create appealing articles?

#1 - Before you begin to write, you need to jot down a little plan of what you intend to say in your article. You need to write down the title, and to make a list of all the things that you intend to discuss within your article. Having a plan makes it easier to get your thoughts across in your article.

#2 - The obvious and first place to start is your title or headline. The headline needs to be appealing, and you can create appealing headlines by using questions or using the "how-to" format of titles. The title is very important because it is the first thing that will attract your potential reader. If your potential reader likes the title, then it is very likely that they will continue to read the rest of the copy.

#3 - Your article should give as much detailed information as possible on one given topic. If you plan before time, you should be able to make a list of the five or six important aspects of your chosen topic and write only about these items.

#4 - Ensure that little snippets of information, which are difficult to find over the internet, are included in your copy. Readers love to learn fresh and new ideas. If you are the writer who gives them these ideas, they will want to develop a relationship with you long term.
#5 - Inject other people's experiences within your article. If you have a success story of others who succeeded using your ideas or tips, then include some information in your article. This will inspire your reader to want to read more of your articles.

#6 - Use vocabulary that is easy to understand. It is important that you use language that your target market will have an affinity to. You could use a very chatty and friendly style in your writing, but the vocabulary must be easy to understand by them.

#7 - Include a valid back link in your article. When readers get to the bottom of your article, they may want more information from you, and the only opportunity, if you structure your article right, is through the resource box. When they click on to the link, they should be taken to a squeeze page, and after they register, they can learn more information about what you have available for them. This will give you the opportunity to develop a relationship with them longer term.

#8 - And finally, once you have completed your article, it is important to go back and proofread it for errors. Don't allow spelling and grammatical errors to slip through your articles. If you proofread your article before you submit it to the directories, you will generate a reputation of someone who knows what they are talking about and can create interesting and appealing articles.
